The Offerings explores the Hong Kong custom of burning paper effigies of material objects such as money, iPhones, bowls of noodles and miniature houses to offer to ancestors in the after-life. It poses questions of consumerism, ritual, faith, death and ultimately a meditation on how we cope with it.
